St. Elmo-Brownstown held off South Central in a Thursday night National Trail Conference battle as the Lady Eagles beat the Lady Cougars 25-20, 25-21. The win keeps SEB unbeaten in this second week of the season as the Lady Eagles move to 4-0 and 1-0 in the NTC. They will be on the road this weekend as they travel to Wayne City for a round robin where they will face host Wayne City and Sparta. South Central drops to 1-7 on the season and to 0-2 in the NTC and they will have another conference matchup on Tuesday when they host Dieterich.
