Daulbaugh officially starts as Economic Development/Tourism Director on September 9th

Amber Daulbaugh will officially return to work for the City of Vandalia.

At Tuesday’s Vandalia City Council meeting, the City Council officially hired Daulbaugh to the position of Economic Development Director/Tourism Director.  The hiring was announced in August, but was officially approved at Tuesday’s meeting.  Daulbaugh says she’s excited to get back going in the position.

And, she says she’s also looking forward to work with folks who want to make a difference in the community.

Daulbaugh is returning to the position she previously held from June of 2018 to November of 2021.  And, the position had remain vacant for these past nearly 4 years.
