(White Hall, IL) — A funeral director in Jacksonville is dead following a lawnmower accident in Greene County. Authorities say Colby Brooks was riding a lawnmower Saturday on a private property in rural White Hall when it rolled on top of him and into a creek. He died because of injuries suffered in the accident. Brooks was a funeral director with Airsman-Hires Funeral Homes since 1996.
