Two individuals are facing Residential Burglary and Theft charges in Fayette County Court.
34 year old Gaige S. Jackson of Brownstown and 20 year old Daylee Wehrle of Vandalia are both charged with Residential Burglary, which is a Class 1 Felony. Information in the charge states that both individuals are alleged to have entered a dwelling in the 1900 block of West Madison Street in Vandalia with the alleged intent of theft. The second charge against both individuals is Theft Possession of Stolen Property, which is a Class 3 Felony. Information says they were allegedly in possession of property from the West Madison Street dwelling that included a refrigerator, microwave, television, a John Deere lawnmower and other personal items.
Both individuals were granted pre-trial release with electronic monitoring. Both are due back in Fayette County Court for an appearance with counsel on October 1st.
