A Brownstown man is facing a Felony Aggravated Battery Charge in Fayette County Court. 43 year old Melvin C. Eller, Junior has been charged with Aggravated Battery which is a Class 3 Felony. Information in the charge states that Eller is alleged to have committed battery inside a Brownstown business by allegedly knowingly causing bodily harm to a child in that Eller is alleged to have pushed the child into a shelf.
In court, information states that Eller waived his right to counsel and intends to proceed without counsel. Information also stated Eller was released on standard conditions and will next appear in Fayette County Court for a preliminary hearing on September 3rd at 9 am.
