One vehicle accident does major damage to solar panels off of Kennedy Boulevard in Vandalia

A one vehicle accident does major damage to solar panels just off of Kennedy Boulevard in Vandalia.

Vandalia Police Chief Jeff Ray reports a 2021 white GMC SUV being driven by 94 year old Earl Johnson of Centralia lost control of his vehicle near the 300 block of Kennedy Boulevard and struck the solar panels on the west side of the street.  Vandalia Police, Vandalia Fire and Rural Med EMS all responded. Chief Ray says that Mr. Johnson was not injured in the accident but there was major damage to the vehicle and the solar panels.
