
A St. Peter man is facing multiple charges in Fayette County Court following an incident on Friday that involved the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and also the Special Incident Response Team.
36 year old Dustin W. Knott is facing a charge of Threatening a Public Official, which is a Class 3 Felony. Knott is alleged to have made a threat to a Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy during Friday’s incident. Knott also faces a charge of Obstruction of Justice, which is a Class 4 Felony. The information on the charge says that Knott allegedly worked to prevent the apprehension of himself. Knott also faces two Misdemeanor charges of Aggravated Assault to a Peace Office and Unlawful Possession of a Vicious/unsterilized Dog by a Felon.
In Fayette County Court this week, Knott was ordered detained pending trial and will make and will appear in court again on July 29th.
