(Taylorville, IL) — A Christian County family is suing the Taylorville community unit school district over allegations their ten-year-old special needs daughter was sexually assaulted by a 14-year-old student. The family filed a lawsuit claiming the child was sexually assaulted multiple times on and off the school bus. The suit accuses the district of negligence and putting their daughter and other students in danger.
