Vandalia Mayor talks about ways of potentially speeding up the process when it comes to working with city government

We hear more today from Vandalia Mayor Doug Knebel, as we talk about some things he’s dealt with in his first 5 weeks or so as Mayor.

One thing that he has looked at is potentially speeding up the process of getting your project through City Government.  Speaking during our most recent podcast, “Talking about Vandalia,” Mayor Knebel says potentially combining the planning and zoning committee would be one option.

The idea was discussed at the last City Council meeting with positive feedback from the City Council.  The City Council will hold their 2nd meeting of June this evening at 6:30 pm.
