
A Flora woman, who is currently awaiting trial in Fayette County, has been sentenced to 6 years in prison in Clay County.
Clay County State’s Attorney Phillip M. Givens announced on Wednesday that 38 year old Jill P. Crawford of Flora was sentenced to 6 years in prison on the offense of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Givens says in a release that Crawford earlier pleaded guilty to the offense and was sentenced on Wednesday in Clay County Court.
Meanwhile, Crawford is facing charges in Fayette County Court. Crawford is facing a charge of Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine of 15 to 100 grams, which is a Class X Felony. Crawford is also facing a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, which is a Class 1 Felony. Crawford will make a pre-trial appearance in Fayette County Court on June 3rd at 9 am.
