(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois Gaming Board is launching new training to combat human trafficking. All casino employees must complete annual human trafficking training, including information on what makes an individual susceptible to human trafficking and the different types of human trafficking. Casinos must establish and implement employee procedures for documenting, reporting, and responding to suspected instances of human trafficking within gaming and non-gaming areas, as well as post human trafficking awareness notices.
