Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was in Springfield on Wednesday, saying she was in Illinois at the direction of President Trump to draw attention to what she called dangerous policies by Illinois and Governor J.B. Pritzker. State Representative Blaine Wilhour spoke at the event, critical of Governor Pritkzer’s immigration policies.
As Wilhour mentioned, victims were on hand and spoke at the press conference. Noem said she was also in Springfield over laws she says come out that impact the entire state, protecting illegal criminals and non prioritizing American citizens and the citizens of Illinois.
