(Mattoon, IL) — A man charged in a deadly crash at a nursing home in Mattoon will remain behind bars. Curtis Meadows was denied pretrial release while appearing in court yesterday on multiple charges, including aggravated DUI and reckless homicide. Prosecutors say Meadows was driving drunk when he drove his car into the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home last Friday. An 82-year-old resident died following the incident, while an 86-year-old resident was hospitalized.
