A portion of Gallatin Street has been named to honor outgoing Mayor Rick Gottman.
Early in Monday’s meeting, Alderman Bob Bowen made the presentation to Mayor Gottman.
Gottman served 6 terms as Mayor of Vandalia–the longest serving Mayor in the City’s history–and before that served 8 years as an Alderman.
