The Vandalia School Board handled several personnel matters at their February board meeting.
The Vandalia School Board approved the employment of Brook Benhoff as Agriculture Teacher and Jenny Schilling as 2nd shift custodian. The board also approved the transfer of Ricky Lockhart from 2nd shift custodian to Custodial Coordinator. The board approved the maternity leave of Michelle Helton from March of this year through the end of the 2024-25 school year.
The Vandalia School Board also approved several upcoming retirements. The board approved the intent to retire of Terry Sutherland at the end of the 2025-26 school year. And, the board approved the intent to retire of Cyndi Zobrist, Jeannie Schmitt and Michelle McNary at the end of the 2029-30 school year.
