(Lake Co., IL) — The trial of the Highland Park July 4th parade shooting suspect gets started today. Jury selection begins in Lake County court for the trial of Robert Crimo the third. Crimo is accused of killing seven people and wounding dozens more at the suburban Independence Day parade in 2022. Prosecutors are expected to focus on the testimony of the dozens of living victims.
