To continue to present more information to the public, there will be an open house today at the Fayette County Courthouse. The open house will be held today from 1 pm to 3 pm and will give individuals an opportunity to tour the courthouse and jail, learn more about the offices and meet the staff and to also ask any questions. The open house is part of the county presenting more information to the public in regards to the condition of the courthouse and jail as voters will decide on a 1% sales tax referendum on the April 1st ballot for a potential new courthouse and jail.
