Illinoisans Encouraged To Take Advantage Of Tax Credits

(Springfield, IL) — Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Revenue are encouraging eligible residents to take advantage of tax credits when filing their 2024 income tax returns this year. The Illinois Earned Income Tax Credit is a benefit for working people with low to moderate income. Other credits include the Illinois Child Tax Credit, the Volunteer Emergency Worker Credit and the Education Expense Credit.
