A St. Elmo man is facing two felony charges in Fayette County Court.
58 year old Scott A. Vonderheide of St. Elmo is charged with Criminal Trespass to Residence, which is a Class 4 Felony. Information in the charge states that Vonderheide entered a residence in St. Elmo, allegedly knowing one or more persons were present and without authority. Vonderheide is also charged with Harrassment, which is a Class 4 Felony. Information on this charge says that Vonderheide harrassed an individual and “conveyed a threat of injury” in that the defendant allegedly threatened to kill the individual.
A petition to deny pre-trial release was filed. During an appearance in court this week, the Public Defender was appointed to defend Vonderheide. He is next due in court for a Preliminary Hearing and appearance with counsel on February 25th.
