As has been the case for all six games of the Girls National Trail Conference Tournament so far, #7 CHBC beat #9 South Central, 64 to 47, on Tuesday night in action from the Consolation side of the bracket. The Lady Bobcats were able to get out to a double digit lead, going up 18-8 at the end of the first quarter and pushed their lead out to 14 by halftime, with CHBC leading the Lady Cougars 35-21. South Central would outscore CHBC in the third quarter, 13-10, to cut just a little bit off their deficit, but continued to trail 45-34 heading into the final eight minutes of play. A 19-13 run through the fourth quarter for the Bobcats would put the game away though as CHBC beat South Central, 64-47. CHBC’s Macee Rodman would reach a career high on the game with 40 points while South Central’s Kaitlyn Swift would hit six three-pointers to help her reach 22 points for the game.
