(Chicago, IL) — Illinois Commerce Commission is signing off on ComEd’s re-filed multi-year grid plan with modifications. The Commission approved three-point-three-billion-dollars in investments and system improvements. The decision cut the utility’s proposed four-point-five-billion-dollars in spending by around 25-percent. The ICC also approved Ameren Illinois’ refiled multi-year grid plan with modifications. That includes 356-million-dollars in investments and system improvements. The decision cut the utility’s proposed one-billion-dollars in spending by about 66 percent.
