(Springfield, IL) — A new hearing date is set for the former Sangamon County Sheriff’s deputy charged in the killing of Sonya Massey. Sean Grayson was given a new status hearing for December 2nd. The change is designed to give an appellate court more time to rule on Grayson’s appeal of his pretrial detention. He is charged with three counts of first degree murder after shooting Massey to death at her home on July 6th.
