The Vandalia boys basketball team will have a very familiar face at the helm next season as Joe Vanzo will step up into the head coach position after spending the last three seasons as the assistant coach. During the Vandalia School Board meeting on Thursday night, the board approved the employment of Vanzo as head coach by a unanimous vote of 7-0.
In other coaching moves at the meeting, the board approved the resignation of Colin Ledbetter as a VCHS soccer coach and also approved the employment of Christian DiBerardino as VCHS Boys Golf Coach.
