Vandalia Mayor Rick Gottman further addresses the closing of County Market.
As has been reported, County Market in Vandalia is set to close on Friday of this week. During Monday’s Vandalia City Council meeting, Mayor Rick Gottman further discussed the situation and what may happen going forward.
And, Mayor Gottman says the City of Vandalia is working to assist on a potential local grocery store option.
And, Gottman says he is still working to find out more information from what will be the new property owner.
As was earlier announced, the grocery store chain Hy Vee purchased County Market and it is slated to close this Friday.
