The Vandalia Jr. High softball team is back in the win column after getting a 15-3 win over CHBC on Monday. Vandalia got on the board early with three runs in the top of the first inning and tacked on another three in the top of the second for a 6-0 lead. After a scoreless third inning by both teams, the Vandals put three runs across again in the fourth inning for a 9-0 lead. CHBC got their offense going in the bottom of the fourth and cut the Vandals lead to 9-3. Vandalia would put another two runs up in the fifth inning before another four runs scored in the sixth would make it a 15-3 lead for the Vandals before they would hold CHBC to close out the win. Vandalia moves to 3-2 on the season.
