The Altamont Indians used a tag team effort from Ethan Robbins and Eli Miller on the mound and a 5 RBI day by Nathan Stuemke to get a big 15-1 win over Mulberry Grove at home on Tuesday. After a scoreless first inning, Mulberry Grove score their first and only run of the game in the top of the second inning as Arjan Epperson hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Aiden Walker for a 1-0 lead. Altamont took over from there, kickstarting their offense and putting up 7 runs in the bottom of the second inning. The Indians would add on three more runs in the third and five more in the fourth inning to lead 15-1. They would then hold the Aces scoreless in the top of the fifth inning to end the game by run rule after four and a half innings for the win. Robbins pitched the first 2 1/3 innings for the Indians allowing 1 run on no hits and 3 walks while striking out 2 before Eli Miller pitched the final 2 2/3 innings, allowing just one hit, walking two and striking out two as the pair combined for the one-hit, one run win. Nathan Stuemke guided the Indians offensively with 5 RBI on a 2-3 day the plate with a walk and 3 runs scored. Arjan Epperson had the only hit of the game for the Aces with his triple in the second inning. Altamont improves to 15-6 on the season while Mulberry Grove falls to 5-9 on the season.
