Chicago Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson will be in front of Illinois state lawmakers Wednesday in Springfield. Some are hoping to hear a message of cooperation on various issues. Gov. J.B. Pritzker said Johnson has a tall order ahead.

Chicago came into national focus after a weekend of crimes committed by dozens of youth taking to major tourist areas downtown, which included shootings and vandalism.
