The South Central Cougars remain undefeated as Aidan Dodson tossed a no hitter on Friday night in the South Central Wooden Bat Tournament at Lion’s Field in Kinmundy as South Central defeated North Clay, 9 to 0. Dodson went the distance on 101 pitches, striking out 12 and walking just 2 in throwing the gem. Offensively for South Central, they had just 3 hits on the night but they were able to advantage of some extra baserunners to score 1 run in the 2nd, 4 more in the 3rd, 1 in the 5th and 3 more in the 6th. South Central is now 13-0 on the season and will play both Flora and Woodlawn today at home in the Wooden Bat Tournament.
