The National Trail Conference All-Stars grabbed a 93-80 win over the Lincoln Prairie Conference All-Stars in the Central Illinois All-Star Classic held at Cumberland High School on Sunday. In a game played in two halves instead of four quarters, the NTC All-Stars edged out to 46-42 lead at halftime before outscoring the LPC All-Stars 47-38 in the second half for the 13-point win. Altamont’s Logan Cornett and Eric Kollman would lead the NTC All-Stars with 12 points each in the game and Cornett would be named the game’s MVP for the NTC-All Stars team. Altamont’s Avery Jahraus would also grab some hardware for the game, winning the 3-Point Showdown. This year’s NTC All-Stars team was coached by St. Elmo-Brownstown Head Coach Greg Feezel and South Central Head Coach Blake Doehring.
