South Central basketball built up a pretty good lead and then held on a bit in the 4th quarter to pick up a 56 to 52 win over Webber Township on Saturday. South Central led 13 to 8 after 1 quarter and 28 to 20 a halftime and had a 42 to 32 lead going into the 4th quarter, but did hold on for the 4 point victory. For South Central they are now 19-8 on the season. They return to NTC action on Tuesday when they travel to Effingham to take on the St. Anthony Bulldogs.
