(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois Senate Republicans are choosing state Senator John Curran to be their leader for the 103rd General Assembly. A group of GOP Senate members called the Downers Grove Republican a “forward-thinking leader.” He is replacing outgoing leader and state Senator Dan McConchie. Curran took office in July 2017 after accepting an appointment to replace Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno.
