Showers and Storms for today, then more rain to return on Wednesday

We will see our first rainfall in a while today.

We are looking at scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm as well for today with a high of 70.  Then, we could see an isolated shower overnight tonight with a low of 60.  More rain is on the way on Wednesday with a high again of 70.  The National Weather Service in St. Louis says much needed rain is moving into the area this morning and will become widespread in most areas over the next few hours. Most of the rain will move out this afternoon, but a few showers may linger into the evening hours before the next round of showers arrive tomorrow morning.
