South Central junior guard Aidan Dodson earned a big honor on Wednesday, being named to the 2021-2022 Illinois Associated Press Boys Basketball All-State Team in the Honorable Mention category. Dodson is one of 37 players from Class 1A teams in the state to earn All-State Honors with 5 First Team members, 6 Second Team members and 26 Honorable Mention honorees. During the 2021-2022 season, Dodson was also named a member of the St. Elmo Holiday Tournament All-Tournament Team and the Dieterich Holiday Tournament All-Tournament team and helped his team to a season record of 26-8 and a postseason run that included the Cougars first Regional Championship since 2004.
