Russell David Agee was born November 07, 1960 in Chicago Heights, IL, the son of Robert D. Agee Sr. and Patricia J. (Poppers) Agee. He married Alisa Cunningham; sharing several years together. Russ began his career with the Fayette County Sheriffs Office as a dispatcher, moving on to corrections, and retiring after twenty years of service.
Known and loved by many as “Uncle Loser”, Russell was a “do-it-yourself fix-it” kind of man; he loved cars and working in his yard. His attention to detail was like no other, his patience and sense of humor were often tested by his family when they would play jokes and challenge his OCD habits.
Russell is survived by his significant other, Alisa Agee of Vandalia; step-son, Seth Brockett of Vandalia; granddaughters, Jayda Brockett and Georgia Brockett of Vandalia; brother, Robert Agee Jr and wife Judy of Bradley, IL; sisters, Pamela Agee of Gilman, IL and Marilyn and husband Lonnie Fellows of Glendale, KY; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and step daughter, Amber Brockett.
