City of Vandalia reaches new Waste Collection extension with Doty Sanitation

The City of Vandalia has reached a new 5 year Waste Collection agreement with Doty Sanitation.

The agreement will call for the current price of $15.38 per month to stay in place for the first 3 years of the new agreement, which begins on August 1st of 2022.  Also, the current contract that began in August of 2016 started at $13.38, so the rate has increased by just $2 in 6 years.  The next increase in rates will come in year 4 of the new agreement—which would be August 1st of 2025—would see rates go to $16.18 and then to $16.58 in the final year of the new agreement.
