The Illinois Department of Transportation is warning about fake emails and texts seeking personal information. I-DOT has been getting reports of messages purporting to be from the agency. Spokesperson Maria Castaneda says it’s a phishing scam.
Castaneda says you should not click on any links in the message which could put Malware on your phone or computer.
