(Arlington Heights, IL) — The wife of a man who is being treated for coronavirus in northwest suburban Arlington Heights is the fourth case of the virus in Illinois. Dr. Daniel Reaven says the husband is in isolation and receiving care at Northwest Community Hospital.
The man’s wife is quarantined at home and is complying with health officials. The couple is in their 70’s and both are reported to be in good condition. Public health officials are working to identify and monitor anyone who has been in contact with them. Governor Pritzker has requested that hospitals across the state implement additional testing to improve surveillance for the coronavirus.
