A Herrick man charged predatory criminal sexual assault of victims under the age of 13 made an appearance in Fayette County Court on Tuesday. 44-year old Gary T. Cole, Jr. appeared in court for a scheduled pretrial hearing with public defender William Starnes. The matter was reset for pretrial to March 10 at 9am.
Cole is charged with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault on two different victims who are both under the age of 13. The counts are Class X felonies which are punishable by 30 to 60 years in prison. Cole remains in the Fayette County Jail on $250,000 bond.
