Fayette County Fair will be without carnival this year, Board VP says carnival backs out just days before start of Fair

The Fayette County Fair was expecting to have a brand new carnival this year, but now they will be without a carnival for the 2019 Fayette County Fair.  Fayette County Fair Board Vice President Bruce Dush says they just learned on Tuesday of this week that the new carnival company, listed in this year’s Fair Book as Steel Horse Midway Attractions out of Gentryville, Indiana, was backing out and would not be able to be there for the Fayette County Fair.  Dush says they have tried to find another carnival.  But, with it so last minute and with this being Fair season there is no one available.  Dush says they are working on adding some different features on to bring some activities to the Fair.  The Fayette County Fair will run from July 6th thru 13th, with the first night for Grandstand events being Sunday night at 7 pm with the Junior Miss and Future Miss Pageant.
