The 3rd and final Vandals Summer basketball shootout will wrap up today. In Day One, the Vandals went 2-1 on the day with wins over Villa Grove and Wayne City and lost to Marshall. As for some area teams, Litchfield was 1-2, Altamont was 2-1 and Effingham was 2-1 on Day One. There are better than a dozen teams in town for this final shootout with some traveling for some–with schools like West Frankfort, DuQuoin and Harrisburg in town for this final shootout.
