Tanner Swain has beaten Connor Huston of Coal City by Decision, 6-0, to claim the championship of the 126lb weight class at the Princeton Invitational Wrestling Tournament. Swain went 4-0 in the tournament with two wins by pin and two wins by Decision. Swain now sits at 163 career wins as he keeps adding to the new school record for wins that he set just over a week ago at the Abe’s Rumble.
At 106lbs, Jarek Wehrle lost to Matt Hollingsworth of Manteno to finish in 4th place for the tournament. Wehrle went 3-2 overall in the tournament.
At 182lbs, David Meyer lost by pin to finish in 6th place for the tournament. Meyer went 3-3 overall in the tournament.
