Three Vandalia City Council aldermen have filed to run for re-election in the upcoming April 2 Consolidated Election. Ken Hubler from Ward One, Joel Rebbe of Ward Three and B. John Clark of Ward Four all filed petitions Monday to run for re-election. Hubler will be contested in Ward One as Joseph Crawford filed a petition to run for election. Ward Two alderman Russ Stunkel is also up for election, but has not filed a petition to run for re-election at this time.
In the City of St. Elmo, three council seats are up for election but no petitions were filed on Monday.
The Village of Brownstown board has two seats up for election this Spring, but no petitions have been filed as of yet for either seat.
And in the Village of Ramsey, three board trustee positions are up for election, but no petitions were filed Monday for any seat.
