At the Illinois Farm Bureau’s annual meeting, the President of the Fayette County Farm Bureau’s Board of Directors has been nominated to serve on the IFB Board. Ken Cripe has been nominated to serve District 14 on the Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Cripe has been nominated for a 2 year term to represent Farm Bureau members in Fayette, Effingham, Clay, Marion and Montgomery counties. The voting on Cripe as well as incumbent board directors will take place today. Ken Cripe serves as the President of the Fayette County Farm Bureau Board, as well as serving as commissioner for the Vandalia Levee and Drainage District, along with being a farmer and operating his family-owned elevator at Cripe Grain in Bluff City.
