We have seen a few minor snowfalls already in the first half of November. But, it looks like our first measurable snowfall of the season is on the way and could also bring some ice with it, too. The National Weather Service in St. Louis shows in our forecast for this area that snow is likely for Wednesday night and into Thursday morning with a low of 27. And, we could see around an inch of accumulation possible for Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Then, Thursday will be a day full of wintry precipitation. We’ll see snow and freezing drizzle likely in the morning on Thursday, then rain and snow in the afternoon and then snow and freezing drizzle in the evening. The NWS says ice accumulation should be less than 1/10th of an inch and we’ll see new snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible during the day and night on Thursday.
