We talk again today with State Senator-elect Jason Plummer about his election and his upcoming term in the Illinois General Assembly after winning election to his first term last week. Plummer will come into an environment in Springfield where Democrats hold a super-majority in both the House and Senate and after J.B. Pritzker defeated Bruce Rauner to put a Democrat in the Governor’s mansion. Plummer says he’s certainly willing to work with Democrats. And, says he’s already reached out to Pritzker to invite him to the 54th district.
Plummer defeated Brian Stout in last Tuesday election to win the 54th District State Senate seat and will now take over from Kyle McCarter.
