It looks like we’ll see our first measurable snow of the year this evening and tonight. The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that remains in effect until 9 pm for the area. The forecast calls for scattered rain and snow showers this afternoon, eventually becoming all snow showers tonight with a low of 20. The NWS says we can expect snow accumulation of around an inch possible when all is said and done tonight–with the snow to mainly be prior to 9 pm.
