October weather was a mixed bag in Illinois. Mother Nature threw a bit of everything at Illinois last moth says State Climatologist Jim Angel.
A strong cold front brought in colder weather in mid-October, with freezing temperatures across much of the state on October 21st. Precipitation was about a half-inch above normal last month. Angel says the latest, long term forecast calls for a wetter and colder than normal November.
