Officials are giving the “All Clear” after a brief lockdown at State Capitol in Springfield Thursday. The lockdown was called after an unknown substance was found in a second floor bathroom. Springfield Fire Chief Allen Reyne says they don’t know what the substance is yet, but that it’s been deemed non-threatening. He explains protocol in these situations.
Reyne says it’s always a good idea for the public to report anything that looks suspicious.
