(Springfield, IL) — Illinois is on the list of states fighting a stubborn salmonella outbreak. The Illinois Department of Public Health yesterday said that 92 people in 29 states have gotten sick. All of the cases are linked to raw chicken. Public health managers say the best thing you can do to not get sick is to fully cook raw chicken, and to wash your hands after you touch raw chicken.
