Republican incumbent County Clerk Vicky Conder is being opposed in the upcoming November election by Democrat challenger Donna Thull. The two candidates had the opportunity to discuss several topics during last Thursday’s Candidates Forum with one key topic being how to make the office even more fiscally efficient. Thull stated she would focus on the property tax process to try and save money.
Conder discussed steps she has already taken to save money in the office that she would continue if re-elected.
During closing statements, both candidates also took time to urge voters to get out to the polls on November 6 and also reminded everyone that early voting is currently available.
